H.O.M.E. welcomes Chicago ad agency SOCIALDEVIANT during Random Acts of Kindness week

To celebrate its 7th Anniversary, Chicago-based SOCIALDEVIANT is mobilizing its staff to support Random Acts of Kindness Week, which officially starts Feb. 17. They will be partnering with H.O.M.E. to remind people of the importance of creating meaningful connections with seniors in their lives.

The mostly Gen Y staff will make multiple visits to H.O.M.E.’s Nathalie Salmon House on Chicago’s North side from Feb. 19-21 to “Spring Clean,” play bingo, swap stories, laugh with and learn from the senior residents. SOCIALDEVIANT is proud to partner with H.O.M.E., which has been a pioneer in forging intergenerational relationships in Chicago for over 35 years. In their buildings, families with children and young adults live alongside older adults and share meaningful connections every day.

“Since our founding back in 2012, SOCIALDEVIANT has made becoming the world’s kindest company a key ambition,” said CEO Marc Landsberg. “It guides everything we do, especially our behavior in and out of the office. I’m so proud of our DEVIANTs for this year’s activation. We can get a lot of valuable advice from the seniors in our lives if we only take the time to be present, ask questions, and really listen to them.”

Each February, SOCIALDEVIANT celebrates its anniversary by supporting Random Acts of Kindness Week, actively encouraging the entire staff to give back to the world around them. This has included paying it forward at local coffee shops, schools and now senior residences, in addition to volunteering to pack food at the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
