H.O.M.E. is selected as a beneficiary for Proud to Run 2019

Proud to Run LogoH.O.M.E. is thrilled to be selected as  one of four beneficiaries for the 2019 Proud to Run!

Support from Proud to Run will be used to help ensure that LGBTQ+ seniors served by H.O.M.E. are treated fairly and welcomed for who they are. Creating a warm environment for and providing services that meet the needs of LGBTQ+ seniors has enriched our role in providing quality, person-centered programming for low-income seniors. Continuing our Welcoming LGBT Seniors at H.O.M.E. initiative will deepen our commitment to older adults.

The Proud to Run 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is organized by an all-volunteer, community-based board of directors. Learn more about Proud to Run and how you can get involved here

Proud to Run donates 100% of proceeds from each year’s race to Chicago-area non-profit organizations who work to make the LGBTQ+ healthier, safer, and stronger.
