Aetna Foundation supports wellness programming at H.O.M.E.

exercise_classH.O.M.E. (Housing Opportunities & Maintenance for the Elderly) is thrilled to be the recipient of a $10,000 grant from the Aetna Foundation to help low-income seniors in the Edgewater and Rogers Park communities remain independent and healthy.

This grant will allow for the purchase of fitness equipment (i.e. resistance bands, yoga mats, foam rollers, elliptical, etc.) and wellness education programming (i.e. fall prevention, balance courses, etc.) to better the health of  approximately 70 senior members who are part of H.O.M.E.’s Intergenerational Housing program.
