Mini Golf Monday

It was a hot and sunny Monday morning when the seniors Charlotte, Jean and Jim from Pat Crowley House decided to go out and play mini golf at Novelty Golf & Games. Also known as Bunny Hutch. This place has been around forever and still draws many visitors. After selecting their colored balls of choice, the residents were putting their way through a variety of holes. Ramps, spinning doors, small corridors and water basins increased the level of difficulty and in the end, it turned out that the best mini golfer was the photographer and new intern Emily. After about one hour in the heat and also getting hungry, the seniors decided to head back home - right in time for lunch.

Lisa, our valued, diligent substitute cook came again to prepare salmon salad with home made bread rolls for lunch and chicken/beef Burritos with Guacamole, grated cheese and a fruit bowl for dinner. For dessert, she baked two delicious key lime pies which were devoured in no time. We appreciate your hard work and cooking skills a lot and you are, without any doubt, someone the seniors look forward to and who makes them happy.
