Another winter week at the Good Life Senior Residences

Christmas is coming! A time full of love and giving! The latter is celebrated at the Good Life Senior Residences in the form of a gift exchange. Every resident picks a random name of another resident. This will be the person who receives a gift from the one who picked his or her name. On Christmas Eve, the gifts are exchanged, which is a nice surprise for everyone since no one knows who they got their present from.

Unfortunately we are in the middle of a rather uncomfortable situation for seniors at Pat Crowley House because of ongoing bed bug treatments. On Tuesday, everyone got 'evacuated' from the first floor to the second one, so that the exterminators could do their thing. Preparing for this was a challenge, it included bagging clothes, empty drawers and moving furniture. We fortunately got help from Suzanne! She is a volunteer who shared some of her time with us to help clean and get the living room ready for the next day treatment. Thank you so much, Suzanne, you saved us a lot of time and effort!

If you'd like to volunteer and dedicate some of your time to support the well-being of seniors and follow Suzanne's example: follow the link below and get started, it's easy and every helping hand is makes a difference and is appreciated!
