Our Annual Celebration Dinner is Right Around the Corner!

Its that time of year again - time for H.O.M.E.’s Annual Celebration dinner!  This year our theme is "Sweet H.O.M.E. Chicago". Copy_of_Theres_noplacelikehome.jpg

Last year nearly 300 H.O.M.E. supporters came together to celebrate H.O.M.E. Together, as a community of H.O.M.E. supporters, we were able to raise over $80,000 to help seniors in Chicago maintain their independence.

We are hoping to make this year’s celebration the best one yet!

Today is the last day to register to be a part of the celebration. You won't want to miss the fun evening of catching up with colleagues and friends, enjoying a silent auction sponsored by H.O.M.E.'s Young Professionals Board, and listening to a short program about what H.O.M.E. has accomplished this year.

We are honored to have our good friend Robyn Golden as our emcee for the evening. Robyn is a highly respected leader in the field of aging, having been honored by the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration, New York Institute of Technology’s College of Medicine and Health Professions, the Roslyn Carter Institute and others. She is the Director of Health & Aging at Rush University Medical Center and former President of the American Society on Aging.

Just as we did last year, this year we will be honoring individuals and groups that have worked to help seniors in Chicago, this year’s honorees include:

  • Oak Street Health
  • Memoona Hasnain, University of Illinois at Chicago
  • Saint Clements Church

Silent_Auction.jpgGuests will also enjoy a Silent Auction and our popular Wine Grab. The Silent Auction, sponsored by our Young Professionals Board, has a lot to offer -- some of the top prizes include:

  • Bears Tickets
  • Cubs & White Sox Tickets
  • Hair & Spa Salon Gift Certificate
  • Lagunita’s Beer Basket
  • Gift Cards to Wine and Dine
  • Hand made jewlery crafted by one of our talented residents!

Earlier this year H.O.M.E. was awarded the Philanthropy Award for Human Services-Social Services from Make It Better Foundation. As part of that award we received a video and coverage across Make It Better platforms. We are excited to be premiering the video at our Annual Celebration Dinner on the 28th!

Because contributions by our sponsors cover the cost of the Dinner, all of the donations by you and your guests will go directly to support H.O.M.E. We are so grateful for each of our sponsors:

American Marketing Services, Barton Management, Big 'O' Movers, Brinshore, Chuhak & Tecson Law Firm, Cigna Healthspring, Fifth Third Bank, Joseph M. Wiedemann & Sons, JP Morgan, Lightengale Group, The Lombard Company , Magnum Trucking, Make It Better Foundation, MB Financial, McCarthy Ford, Morgan Stanley, Northern Trust, Oakstreet Health, Peoples Gas, Prime Publishing, Rush Health & Aging, Urban Partnership Bank, US Bank, US Trust, ValueKnowledge

We are getting excited about the fun evening of celebrating the work that our supporters enable us to do to help seniors in Chicago maintain their independence. We hope you are looking forward to it just as much as we are!

Today is the last day to RSVP, so please make sure to sign up by the end of the day today to reserve your spot! You won’t want to miss it!
