Spooky Senior Happenings in Chicago this Halloween Season

Halloween is often a very child and youth centered holiday. But the truth is, fall activities can be fun for people of all ages, and Chicago has a lot of events to offer adults as well as kids.

Here are a few things going on around town this month that we think could be intergenerational fun! H.O.M.E. will be at a few of these happenings--stop by and say hi, and ask us about our programs for seniors.

Halloween Events 

Home Movie Day at the Chicago History Museum

Bring your home videos or stop by at 2pm for a screening of spooktacular home movies featuring the fun & frightful antics of the season.

Family Jack-o-Lantern Hikes at the Morton Arboretum ($16-19)

Take an evening hike to see the nightlife at the Arboretum!

The Halloween Gathering

With music, art, and a fantastic parade, this event is surely not just for kids!

Clark Street Spooktacular & Spooky Zoo Spectacular

Complete with a scarecrow parade and the zoo activities, this Lincoln Park hullabaloo is sure to be fun for all.

Halloween FunRogers Park Halloween Events

With events for adults and kids, Rogers Park (home to Nathalie Salmon House!) has two events for the neighborhood.

Thriller Parade at Buttercup Park in Uptown

Who doesn't think of the Michael Jackson song this time of year? Kick off the season with this fun parade!
