Giving Tuesday

You did it! Thank you to donors who gave BIG on Giving Tuesday. Together, we raised $19,068 to help seniors maintain their independence. 

Giving Tuesday is a day of giving that comes on the heels of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In the same way the days of sales and great deals kicks of the shopping season, Giving Tuesday kicks of the season of giving! 

We had two great deals, too. 1) The Retirement Research Foundation matched gifts dollar for dollar for the first $5,000 raised on Giving Tuesday. 2) Bruce, H.O.M.E.'s Executive Director, challenged us to raise $10,000 to see him wear a toupee for an entire day. 

Today, Bruce is wearing his toupee. You can look for pictures and updates on Facebook and Twitter--including photos of Bruce at our residents' annual holiday party later this afternoon.

Thank you, again, for kicking off the season of giving! This puts us well on our way to raising $145,000 by the end of the year so that we can do great things for seniors in 2015. Join us by donating and sharing our stories with others.
