Dominique Bates is a business and financial professional with a career rooted in leadership, strategic planning, and service-driven impact. She brings over 15 years of experience in business consulting, specializing in business planning, budget management, and organizational growth across both public and private sectors.

Dominique previously served as a District Manager for a well-established lending firm, where she spent more than seven years overseeing multi-site operations, financial performance, staff development, and training. Her leadership focused on strengthening teams, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring responsible financial stewardship. In addition to her corporate leadership experience, she has managed IT and operational projects for government and private organizations, providing structure, accountability, and results in complex environments.

Currently, Dominique is intentionally refocusing her professional path toward mission-driven work, aligning her expertise with causes that support community well-being, dignity, and long-term impact. She values growth—not only in organizations, but in people—and is deeply committed to balancing professional excellence with the joys of family, purpose, and service.

What resonates most with me about H.O.M.E. is the strong sense of community shared among staff, residents, and board members. It’s a community driven by empathy, collaboration, and a shared vision for positive change. I value this commitment because it aligns with my passion of advocating for seniors’ quality of life. Shaped by personal and professional reasons, I believe this community deserves greater attention, care, and respect.

I have witnessed firsthand the gaps that exist in services and support for seniors, and I am committed to being a thoughtful voice, advocate, and steward for meaningful change. Serving on the H.O.M.E. board allows me to contribute my experience, perspective, and heart to an organization whose mission truly aligns with my values.
