Opening Doors at H.O.M.E.

For more than 40 years, H.O.M.E. has been working to improve the well-being of low-income seniors and create a more equitable, robust, and age-friendly Chicago. 

Every day, we open doors to older Chicagoans in need of safe affordable housing. These doors open to new apartments, repaired homes, and H.O.M.E.'s intergenerational residences -- and in opening, these doors lead to independence, community, and friendship for low-income seniors.

H.O.M.E. helps Chicago’s low-income seniors to live independent and socially engaged lives. Our vision is of a Chicago in which people of all ages live together in a way that supports older adults’ connection to the larger community.
