Welcome our new staff member

My name is Judy Smith and I am the newly hired Business Development Coordinator at H.O.M.E. I am very excited to be taking on this new role and I hope that it will allow me to combine the business experience that I have gained from practicing corporate law for 15 years with my passion for supporting the independence of older adults.

I am also a recent graduate of the Masters in Gerontology program at Concordia University Chicago. My work with older adults has focused on providing support to individuals who desire to age in the home of their choice in an engaged manner. I believe that H.O.M.E.’s programs do exactly that.

The shopping bus, home upkeep and repair, moving, and intergenerational housing programs all offer assistance to those who seek to live as independently as possible in the home and community of their choice.

When I am not working to develop H.O.M.E.’s amazing programs, I spend my time trying to keep up with my three kids. I look forward to getting to know you as I move along this new path.
