Block Museum outing

How are you doing?

Since the weather was amazing the last days and the sun just wouldn't stop shining, the Good Life senior residents were having an outing at the Mary & Leigh Block Museum of Arts. It is a free-admission museum on the campus of Northwestern University in Evanston and had several exhibitions ongoing, which the seniors could enjoy:

  • Tseng Kwong Chi, a Chinese photographer performing for the camera,
  • 50 Years of Iranian Movie Posters
  • Mourning during the AIDS Crisis

The seniors enjoyed the change of scenery, the sun, the buildings in the area around the campus, the silence and peaceful atmosphere in the museum and the nice view on the lake through the huge glass front of the arts building.
