Top tips for staying safe and healthy as you age

On Friday we were inspired by an article about seven older adults who have achieved amazing fitness goals from climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro to swimming from Florida to Cuba.

In addition to motivating us to get moving, these women reminded us of the importance of staying safe and healthy as you age. Here are our top posts of tips and information for seniors about getting active and staying healthy:

1. Debunking Myths about Falls

2. Tips to stay cool in the summer

3. Tips for fall prevention for seniors and caregivers

4. Senior activities to promote health and independence

5. Tips for healthy eating for seniors

Seniors who are living in Good Life Senior Residences have been getting into fitness lately, too! From a volunteer personal trainer visiting Pat Crowley House to weekly Tai Chi classes, they are having fun and getting fit.
