Dedication in honor of Edward R. Willer on July 1, 2016

Ed donated a painting to Nathalie Salmon House on the anniversary of the building in 2014 in honor of our founders, Michel and Lilo Salmon.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Edward R. Willer, a founding board member, in April.

Ed was a faithful supporter of H.O.M.E. for over 30 years. Michel & Lilo Salmon, our founders, referred to him recently as a “dream volunteer.”

Ed once told us that one of his favorite memories of H.O.M.E. was of making Thanksgiving dinner for residents who lived at Nathalie Salmon House—an  affordable, intergenerational building that he helped develop during his time on the Board of Directors.

In this spirit and with the support of Ed’s family, we will be dedicating the community living areas on the fifth floor of Nathalie Salmon House in Ed’s memory on Friday, July 1 at 2:30 pm.

You are invited to join his wife Mary, other family members, and our Executive Director, Bruce Otto, for the dedication. Please call Bruce at 773-295-2711 if you plan to attend.

If you would like to make a donation in Ed's memory, you may do so here or send a check to 1419 W Carroll Ave, Floor 2, Chicago, IL 60607. Please write "Ed Willer" in the memo.
