Easter Brunch and BBQ Bingo

On the sunny Friday before Easter, the seniors from Pat Crowley House (PCH) got invited to join the residents at Nathalie Salmon House (NSH) for a nice brunch: dinner rolls and bagels with cream cheese and ham, sausages, french toast and Frittata, accompanied by Mimosa (cold orange juice with champagne) and mini chocolate cupcakes and cookies for dessert.

After eating, when everyone was full and satisfied, another table was set up for coloring Easter eggs. Equipped with spoons and a color bowl, each senior prepared eggs of different colors. Nikki, the Good Life housing coordinator at Nathalie Salmon House, also made lots of easter treat bags for everyone to take home.

Last Tuesday, the seniors from both NSH and PCH got together again to celebrate the warm and sunny spring weather with a barbecue, consisting of grilled chicken, pork chops, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, green salad with strawberries and goat cheese and four kinds of cookies, along with Cola and Sprite. It was absolutely delicious and the food-loving residents had a good time once again.

Bingo, coffee and cookies!

Before the BBQ was opened, all the seniors were playing Bingo, having some coffee and cookies and trying to win gift cards for Target. With music playing in the background and the sun shining outside, it was a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon.
